Bocas Del Toro: The Caribbean Dream in Panama

Easily accessible from Panama City and Costa Rica, the archipelago offers a variety of dream beaches, crystal clear waters and numerous animals.

Bocas Del Toro: The Caribbean Dream in Panama

Most of the time, when someone talks about Bocas del Toro, they don't mean the entire province, but the main island with the town of Bocas Town. Isla Colón, the main island offers all the amenities that make a traveler's heart beat faster. Wild parties, happy hours, and international restaurants. The main attraction is Playa de las Estrellas. This beach was named after the numerous starfish that can be found there.

BocasDAO has chosen to build El Refugio Beach Bungalows on Isla Carenero, the beautiful little sister opposite Isla Colón. This is the smallest of the 4 main islands and is therefore ideal to explore on foot. There are no cars on Carenero Island, but a foot path will lead you around the island in about a 1.5 to 2 hours walk. The west coast is flanked by small boats and the numerous docks, which makes a very idyllic picture. El Refugio will come to life on the east coast, which awaits you with quiet bays and shallow waters.

But there are more island to visit:

If you can't quite decide between the bar and party scene on Isla Colón, the beach idyll on Isla Caranero and the endless green Isla Solarte, you should consider Isla Bastimientos, because there's a bit of everything here.

With the Red Frog Beach, the island has just as great a beach as Isla Colón with Playa Bluff. It's not quite as long, but just as beautiful - especially if you stay there overnight and can avoid the numerous day tourists. In addition, there are some beautiful hiking trails on the island, where you can get to know the tropical nature better.

And if you're looking for a few bars, you can either visit the few local options around Red Frog Beach or plan a side trip to the somewhat rougher Old Bank, the little village on Isla Bastimientos.

Resuming, Bocas del Toro has the perfect mix of entertainment & infrastructure as well as tropical nature and beautiful beaches. The future Crypto Resort "El Refugio Beach Bungalows" will blend in perfectly in Bocas del Toro.
