A few months ago, Kraken opened a waitlist for their NFT platform, where users can buy, sell and store their tokens — even our BocasDAO NFT passports?

The move follows rival Coinbase's beta launch, which underlined the growing competition in the fast-growing sector that's been dominated by OpenSea so far. Kraken mentioned therefore in a blog post:

"Non-fungible tokens have redefined the concepts of digital expression, culture and ownership for creators and collectors alike, but the fast-changing, complex ecosystem has made it difficult for many to join in the excitement of the space."

We can totally agree with that statement!

Kraken is the fourth-largest crypto marketplace, after Binance, Coinbase and FTX, so it will have a measurable impact on the NFT market in any case.

BocasDAO will be launching the sale of the NFT Passports on our website, but second market sales are expected to take place on OpenSea and maybe even on the new marketplace of Kraken.
