The National Assembly of Panama had passed the legislation to regulate Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Stellar, IOTA and a few other cryptocurrencies. If the bill gets now signed by EL Presidente himself, we will be able to use them for any payments WITHOUT LIMITATION!

These currencies would be accepted as payment in both civil and commercial capacities including a launch of an official digital wallet, which grants Panama next to El Salvador as a hub of innovation and technology in Latin America.

The “tokenization of precious metals and other goods” would also be permitted under the new law, according to the bill.

This will help us to build on Bocas del Toro exactly that kind of dream we all imagine — no FIAT needed! Seems like we have a few Panama lawmakers in the community as well, awesome.
